The new regulation recently approved by the club's management stipulates the application of the double penalty system in cases of defeats, especially those that affect the team's career in local competitions and continental, with the aim of maintaining the required discipline and level. In terms of the championship ranking, Ahli dropped to third place with 44 points, while Zamalek is at the top of the table with 50 points, putting additional pressure on the technical staff and players to regain the lead.
