US President Donald Trump has expressed his belief that the naval blockade imposed on Iran could cause the explosion of Iranian oil pipelines within three days due to the accumulation of pressure. He stressed that these damages will be irreparable and will force Iran to stop its oil industry.

In a television interview with Fox News, US President Donald Trump revealed his expectations about the impact of the naval blockade on Iran's oil infrastructure, warning of the possibility of pipelines exploding as a result of the inability to ship oil. Trump explained the expected mechanism of the explosion, saying: "When huge amounts of oil pass through the network, and for some reason the line is closed because you can't charge it, what happens because of the blockade? The line is from the inside, mechanically and on the ground, ”he said, noting that the remaining lead time is about three days. The US president stressed that the potential damage will be permanent and irreparable, saying: "When this explodes, you will never be able to restore it to its previous level, "stressing that Iran will face a crisis in oil storage that may force it to stop the industry completely. Trump confirmed the effectiveness of the current naval blockade on Iranian ports. He described it as a means of great pressure, with his categorical denial of any American intention to launch attacks on Iranian infrastructure, noting that what he is talking about "is related to nature." These statements came in light of the continued tension between the United States and Iran, as Washington and Israel began on February 28 to launch strikes on Iranian targets that resulted in more than 3,000 casualties, while a temporary truce was announced last April amid the continuation of negotiations. For its part, Iran responded to these threats through the assistant of Iranian President Ismail Saqqab Isfahani, who threatened to damage four times the infrastructure of any country that supports the aggressor, stressing his country's determination to respond to any aggression targeting its oil facilities.
