The security services in Giza Governorate were able to arrest an unemployed person who committed indecent acts on the public road. This came after the photos of the incident spread on social media and citizens complained.
The Giza Governorate Security Directorate succeeded in arresting an unemployed person who committed indecent acts on one of the main roads, following the spread of photos of the incident on social media platforms. The case began when the monitoring agencies of the Ministry of Interior monitored the circulation of a leaflet containing two pictures in which the accused is shown committing indecent behaviors in the middle of the road, which angered citizens who demanded speedy intervention. The Giza Security Directorate immediately formed a research team specialist, who, by examining surveillance cameras and conducting field investigations, succeeded in identifying the suspect. The accused was found to be an unemployed person residing in the district of Imbaba police station. The security forces went to the place of residence of the accused and arrested him. When confronted with evidence and pictures, he openly confessed to committing these acts at the specified place and time. The required record has been drawn up and all necessary legal procedures have been taken against the accused, and it has been referred to the prosecution to initiate investigations in preparation for his trial in accordance with the law.
