US President Donald Trump confirmed in a press interview that his country is able to bomb all targets in Iran within an additional two weeks, considering that Tehran has suffered a military defeat in the ongoing conflict. Trump criticized NATO as a “paper tiger” for not supporting the United States in this conflict.

US President Donald Trump unveiled new military estimates on his country's combat capabilities against Iran, stressing that two additional weeks are enough to target “every target” in Iranian territory. This came during an interview with freelance journalist Cheryl Atkeson, which was recorded last week and will air later on Sunday. Trump expressed his conviction that Iran was "militarily defeated" in the war that broke out last February with the participation of Washington and Israel, he said, “maybe in their minds they don't realize it, but I think they know the truth of their situation,” but added that this “doesn't mean it's all over.” The US president revealed the details of the ongoing military operations, noting that US forces targeted "about 70 percent" of the predetermined targets, with "additional targets that could theoretically be hit" if extensive intervention was required. In the same vein, Trump sharply criticized NATO, calling it a “paper tiger” that was “not there to help” when the United States needed the support of its allies. This criticism came against the backdrop of the reluctance of NATO member states to contribute to the efforts to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, which Iran has effectively closed since the beginning of the joint US-Israeli operations on February 28.
