US President Donald Trump confirmed the effectiveness of the sanctions imposed on Iran, noting that the chances of the ceasefire remaining do not exceed 1% after rejecting the Iranian response to the US proposal. Trump announced that the Ukrainian war would end very soon.

US President Donald Trump expressed confidence in the effectiveness of US policy towards Iran, stressing that the sanctions imposed on Tehran are achieving its desired goals. Trump noted that Iran was getting significant financial returns through the Strait of Hormuz before these restrictions were imposed. In an important development regarding the negotiations, the US president revealed that the prospects of continuing the ceasefire with Iran have become very weak, estimating it at only 1%. He expressed his dissatisfaction with the response Iran on the American proposal, describing it as a"frivolous letter" that he did not finish reading. Trump praised the efforts of the Pakistani Prime Minister in mediation, considering that Pakistan plays a positive role in this file. He also reiterated his firm stance on preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, declaring that the United States is “winning” in this endeavor. Regarding the Ukrainian file, Trump announced his expectation of the end of the war between Russia and Ukraine "Very soon," denying any understanding with President Vladimir Putin about Russia's seizure of Ukraine's Donbass region. With regard to Chinese relations, Trump stressed that his planned visit to Beijing will be fruitful, noting that he will discuss multiple issues with President Xi Jinping without the Iranian file being among them. He announced that the Chinese president will visit the United States before the end of this year. Tehran had responded to the US proposal Comprehensive demands that include ending the war on all fronts, including Lebanon, in addition to demanding compensation for war damage, affirming its sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz, and calling on Washington to end its naval blockade, lift sanctions, and lift the embargo on its oil sales.
