Cairo: Seizure of a fake educational institution that exploits certificate students

The General Directorate for Combating Public Money Crimes in the Organized Crime Sector carried out a successful security operation that resulted in the arrest of a fraudster who ran a fake educational institution in Cairo Governorate. The operation was based on accurate intelligence that confirmed organized fraudulent activities. Investigations revealed that the defendant exploited the desire of citizens to obtain educational qualifications, where he established an unlicensed educational entity in the Wiley Police Department. The phantom provided certificates in various educational fields without any legal or academic basis. The fraud method relied on the delusion of victims that forged certificates would qualify them to work in large companies and institutions. These false allegations enabled the accused to raise large sums of money from citizens who had fallen into the trap of deception. The security forces were able to catch the accused in flagrante delicto at the headquarters of the fake institution, where he was found in possession of blank certificates and applications for enrollment counterfeit, as well as misleading propaganda material. Seizures reveal the scale of the organized fraud. The accused was referred to the Public Prosecution to complete the investigations and take the necessary legal action.
